The Cleveland Museum of Art is excited to announce that the museum will host the Fifth International Mountmakers Forum, May 4 and 5, 2016. Bringing together mountmakers, conservators, and preparators from across the globe, the forum was created to exchange knowledge and ideas in mounting delicate artifacts, art, and fragile materials exhibited in public spaces.
The free two-day event will be held on-site at Cleveland Museum of Art, 11150 East Boulevard, Cleveland OH 44106, and will include presentations of contemporary mounting fabrication, production, and materials, as well as behind-the-scenes tours.
